Letters to the editor

Publishing letters to the editor shows the community and Council how much we care about Graydon—and why.

Email is best. Alternatively, you can send a letter by fax or regular mail. By any route, provide your name, address, and phone number. Only your name and town will be published. You may receive a call from the publication to verify that the letter came from you.

KEEP IT SHORT—most likely to run.

We suggest sending your letter to more than one newspaper—but not as a group message. Send to each publication separately.

The deadlines indicate the latest acceptable time for publication in the following issue. However, sending letters early is preferable. The deadlines do not guarantee publication on any particular date or at all. Don’t give up too soon, though; letters can run weeks after they are received.
